There are moments in a nation’s history when opportunism crosses into sabotage — when political actors weaponize cultural wounds, not to heal them, but to score points, secure votes, and cripple their opponents at the cost of national survival.
The anti-LGBT+ bill was one such moment. And the National Democratic Congress (NDC) — while in opposition — turned it into a theological trap, a diplomatic landmine, and a campaign bullet. Ghana paid the price. The facts are stubborn. And the hypocrisy, breathtaking.
