The Bono Regional NPP Chairman, Kwame Baffoe (Abronye), has released a serious public statement regarding his personal security and the handling of the gruesome murder of journalist Ahmed Suale.

Chairman Abronye announced his intention to formally petition the United Nations Security Council in the coming days against the Ghana Police Service and a specific individual.

He raised critical questions about the ongoing investigation into the tragic murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.

1. He recalls how an individual was previously invited, interrogated, and cautioned by the police in respect of the case.
2. He points out that while the Police CID boss recently stated that investigations are still active, the police received a pickup vehicle and motorbikes just days later.
3. According to Abronye, the vehicle and Motorbikes were donated by the very same person who had been cautioned and granted bail in the Suale case.
4. He asks a direct question: Has the investigation been compromised?
5. Chairman Abronye says the danger has now turned against him personally.
6. He recalls that Suale’s pictures were originally displayed on Net2 TV shortly before his murder.
7. He reveals that the same individual used Net2 TV just two days ago to threaten him, warning that Abronye “will see what will happen to him soon.”
8. Abronye states that the Ghana Police heard this threat but have remained completely silent.
9. He fears someone might hire contract killers to take his life, and he declares that he no longer trusts the Ghana Police to protect him.
10. He will petition the UN Security Council to hold the individual and the police command responsible if anything happens to him.
