The second fixture of the Access Bank Division One league witnessed some tough matches in Zone 3 ‘describe’ as the group of death this season
Attram de Visser travelled to Legon to face Abedi Pele side Nania FC whiles Last season FA Cup finalist Golden Kick face Port City at the Tuba Park in Kasoa.
Nana Addo Buabeng was at the Tuba Astro turf park to watch the encounter between the two side.
The first ten minutes of the Golden Kick and Port FC saw end to end stuff with both teams trying to find their rhythm in the game.
In the 15 minutes mark Golden Kick intensify their attack which resulted in a penalty which was converted by Lord Kofi Yeboah who puts Kicks one up against Port City in the first 25 minutes of the game.
Port City quickly recovered to pick up some team spirit to push forward into the defense of Golden Kick who were strong in defense breaking some attacks in the midfield into the last 20 minutes of the first half.
Port City attack with the likes of Zakaria former Golden kicks player , Mumuni and Amboroso or called into action which payed of in the 40 minutes which saw Zakaria entering into the penalty box and was fouled by the kicks defender for a penalty which was awarded to the kukurantumi based side.
Zakaria stepped up to the spot but handed it over to Amborosso who’s penalty was save by Golden kicks goalkeeper Kofi Antwi to keep his side one up into the end of the first half.
The second half saw Coach of Port City – Charles Asante Boateng shaking up his defense taking defender Issah (46) out and bringing on Ortiz (5) on to press more in their opponents half.
Port City controlled the game with mild field sensational Tibu and Mumini and Zakaria proven to be force to break even into the quarter mark of the game but the defense of Golden prove to me strong with excellent save from Kofi Antwi.
Quick three change by kicks as to strength their midfield and attack to maintain possession from the pressure Port City were building.
In the last 30 minutes of the game both sides were more physical but the referee make sure calm is restored in the game as we held into the dying minutes to full time.
The last time minutes saw Port City possession most of the ball and high press but failed to convert which saw Coach Boateng pushing his boys to push further but Golden kick were able to break attack set up by port from the wings.
With 6 minutes of added time it go to wire Ada’s both side were left with a little gas left in their tank but Golden Kicks were sitting deep which saw referee whilst to end the game.
As Golden recorded their first win of the season to welcome Attram De Visser next week at home which would be a Derby game whiles Port City also play a derby game against Golden Warriors.

‘My first game, I didn’t have a full squad so we waited for the new faces to join us which they did and you can see the results.
They put up a great performance for us to win today and I’m happy we won but Port City gave us some tough time.

‘The best team lost today , you can see we hand so many chances but we were not able to score.
Our opponent had one chance which they converted to put them ahead which is a bad day for me today at the office.
Sometimes you need to fail and bounce back , so we gonna go back to the drawing board and correct our mistakes of missed chances and remember we have never lost over a year as a team
