BAWUMIA VS. KENNEDY: NO FLAGBEARERSHIP RACE EXISTS

Why pretend there is a merit-based political race between Bawumia and Kennedy when the latter’s public record is an open wound on Ghana’s conscience?

The archives are rich, heavy, and patented. They would be launched on all airwaves should the NPP make the tragic mistake of handing the elephant’s flag to the loose talker. The archives will speak — and they do not lie.

Kennedy’s tirades against the clergy, Christianophobia campaign against charismatic churches are on tape. His crude, unprintable insults on women are preserved in video and audio. His xenophobic calls to kill Ga or Ewe citizens on sight remain on record, and they’re archived. His verbal attack on a High Court judge is archived. His on-air desecration of Florence Obinim’s dignity including showing her underwears on live television is archived. His unmasking of Ahmed Suale on live television followed by Suale’s murder; is archived. His vitriol against a former IGP Ampeatu is archived. Even his own declaration that the NPP government is corrupt is archived. The list is tall.

This is not a race. It is a mismatch between merit and mayhem.
The real test of the delegates’ state of mind will be revealed on January 31, 2026, when they choose whether to crown merit or embrace mayhem.

Postscript: From all indications, Kennedy no longer means well for the elephant family. His motive is bare: “Either I lead the party into the 2028 election, or I break it into pieces.”
