ATRONSU DECLARES WAR ON ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION

The people of Atronsu have issued a passionate call for environmental protection, urging Ghanaians to embrace their God-given responsibility as custodians of creation and to take decisive action against the destruction of the nation’s natural resources.

In a solidarity message, the community reaffirmed its commitment to environmental conservation, stressing that humanity’s dominion over the earth, as outlined in Genesis 1:21 30, is a sacred trust that carries both responsibility and accountability.
According to the statement, God appointed humankind as stewards not exploiters of His creation, charging them to protect the environment while ensuring that the needs of all living creatures are harmoniously met.
The people of Atronsu expressed concern over the increasing degradation of forests, rivers, and other natural resources, questioning why humanity continues to destroy the very environment entrusted to its care.
They warned that environmental destruction has far-reaching consequences, not only for human survival but also for the moral and spiritual obligations owed to the Creator.
Reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding nature, the community announced its solidarity with Eco-Conscious and all individuals, organisations, and environmental advocates working tirelessly to preserve Ghana’s natural heritage.
The statement commended environmental campaigners for their courage, resilience, and dedication, describing them as gallant defenders of God’s creation whose efforts are essential to securing a sustainable future.
The people of Atronsu further called on all Ghanaians to unite in protecting the country’s forests, rivers, wildlife, and ecosystems, stressing that preserving the environment is essential for the welfare of future generations.
“As stewards of God’s creation, we shall all one day account to our Creator for how faithfully we discharged this divine responsibility,” the statement noted.
The community concluded by urging citizens to work together to protect “Mother Ghana” from environmental degradation, expressing hope that collective action today would secure a healthier, greener, and more prosperous nation for generations yet unborn.
Their message adds to growing calls across Ghana for stronger environmental stewardship as concerns mount over illegal mining, deforestation, pollution, and climate change.
