The Access Bank Division One league match day three would witness some exciting fixtures, as Zone 3 would see Attram De Visser welcome last season’s MTN FA Cup finalist, Golden Kick, at the Nania Park.
Both clubs have kick-started their first two matches with Attram De Visser drawing against Accra Lions and losing to Abedi Pele’s side, Nania FC. On the other hand, Golden Kicks lost to Na God and won against Port City at home over the weekend.
Supporters of Attram De Visser would expect a much better performance from coach Godwin Attram to put some smiles on their faces while Coach Fatawu Salifu would keep the team spirit of Golden Kick high in the derby on Friday.
Attram lost his second game against Abedi Pele’s side, Nania FC, away from home, which was their first loss in the ongoing Division One league. Coach Godwin Attram would be eager to fire his boys up for a win against rivals Golden Kicks.
Coach Godwin Attram has stated that it’s a fresh start for his boys this season with mostly new faces whom he’s trying to inject with Attram De Visser blood in them which would yield results soon.
He pleaded with his supporters to stay patient with his team as the winning streak would start soon.
‘ Zone 3 its a difficult contest and each match counts, playing against Attram De Visser is a different ball game all together.
This is a new team that I having, most players of last season have traveled outside. So we have to strategies to get the rhythm in the team ’ He said
A total of five matches have been played by both sides with Golden kicks winning three matches while Attram De Visser has won two.
Coach Fatawu Salifu of Golden Kicks stated that his game against Attram de Visser is going to be a game to watch and his side would try to maintain their team’s spirit in the local Derby.
‘ Attram de Visser is a very good side and we have learnt our lesson from the first two games so we are going into the derby game in high spirits and try to get the maximum points ’. He said
