After months of wild allegations and deliberate misinformation peddled by the opposition, the audit report by the reputable global firm, Deloitte, has brought clarity and exposed the falsehoods. The accounts of the National Cathedral project have been declared clean, with no adverse findings. This report vindicates the integrity and dedication of the distinguished men of God who have committed themselves to the vision of building Ghana’s National Cathedral a sacred project that reflects both our faith and national identity.
Unfortunately, it was the selfish actions of certain individuals, particularly the so-called men of God who resigned from the National Cathedral Board, that fueled public mistrust. Their departure was never about principle or accountability; it was driven by their own personal agendas, bitterness, and inflated egos. Their exit provided ammunition to those determined to sabotage this noble project, painting the revered pastors still leading the initiative as corrupt and evil. Today, their hypocrisy has been exposed, and Ghanaians can now distinguish between those genuinely working for God and those who seek to destroy His work for selfish gain.
I thank the Almighty God for unveiling the truth and preserving the reputations of the courageous and selfless men of God leading this historic project. Their resilience, patience, and resolute faith have been rewarded. Indeed, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s vision for the National Cathedral will stand the test of time, and posterity will judge him as a leader of purpose and conviction. May God continue to bless and protect all those committed to the National Cathedral, a project that symbolizes unity, faith, and Ghana’s divine destiny.
