Alan already dragged the party down this slippery road before, and we’re still licking the wounds. Now Kennedy is replaying the same bad movie, and we’re looking on? Are we fools? The Elephant is a wise animal with the largest installed memory; so why must its children act unwisely?
If the NPP keeps babysitting a political grenade with a loose pin, don’t cry when it explodes in your lap. Kennedy is a direct threat to the unity and survival of our great party.
The warning signs are too identical to ignore. Like Alan, Kennedy’s frontline loyalists don’t speak for the party — they speak at the party. The only time they raise their voices is to aim inward: attacking internal opponents, blackmailing, and smearing both individuals and the party brand.
Even the NDC offers a lesson worth studying. Jerry John Rawlings founded the party with his blood, yet when he became a distraction, they not only alienated him, they ostracised him. And the NDC survived.
We are already in opposition. This is the moment for radical action. Let Kennedy and his boys go so the party can breathe peace again. Only then will the Elephant regain its strength and dignity. Post-Kennedy, we regroup, re-strategise, and rebrand.
Inaction, or pampering is not an option; it will only lead the Elephant to extinction.
