NPP Delegates in Ashanti Region endorse COKA’s chairmanship bid

There is a growing groundswell of support among New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in the Ashanti Region for Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA) to take over the regional chairmanship position of the Party.

COKA’s emergence as the consensus candidate is attributed to his long service to the party, temperament, and unifying appeal.

Many delegates in the region who attended last weekend’s delegates conference in Accra said the party in the Ashanti region needs someone like Odeneho kwaku Appiah to steer the affairs of the Party.

“ COKA is a unifier and With his experience and service to the NPP, he brings institutional knowledge and business expertise to the table.”

“ His dual identity as a seasoned politician and successful businessman makes him an attractive candidate to lead the region as chairman for the party”.

COKA, a former Afigya kwabre south constituency chairman for many years has akways stressed the need for party unity after the 2024 general elections.

“We were all disappointed about the 2024 election results but we need to quickly regroup, reflect and build our party for the battle ahead ”
COKA enjoys support from notable party leaders in the Ashanti Region.

The formal timeline for NPP regional elections has not been announced yet , but COKA’s name is dominating discussions in the region.

COKA has also promised to continue providing ways to Reinvigorate the Party. stating that at the right time when he is given a leadership role in the region, he will bring a new direction to the party.

“ The enthusiasm at this years delegates conference is great. I urge party people to keep faith in the party, continue to stay disciplined and with God on our side, the NPP will bounce back”.
“ l have served the party from grassroot, the polling station, constituency to the region. So at the right time when given a leadership position l will work to bring together generational divides and mend broken relationships for a united Party,” odeneho kwaku Appiah said .

With COKA’s support base growing, he could become a central figure in the NPP’s path to power in 2028.
