Mpohor NPP Pledges 80% Vote for Dr. Bawumia in Upcoming Presidential Primaries

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Mpohor Constituency has declared its strong support for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the party’s upcoming internal elections, pledging to deliver 80 per cent of the total votes in his favour.

The Constituency Chairman, Mr. Razak Dadzie, made the declaration during Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour of the Western Region. He urged delegates to remain resolute in their commitment to the former Vice President and not be influenced by rival contenders.

Mr. Dadzie said Dr. Bawumia had already proven himself as a capable and visionary leader whose national appeal made him the most marketable candidate to lead the NPP into the 2028 general elections.

“He has already been marketed, and now is the time for us to continue backing a proven candidate. We must support Dr. Bawumia,” Mr. Dadzie stated.

He expressed confidence that the Mpohor Constituency would play a decisive role in securing a landslide victory for Dr. Bawumia, adding that the constituency was determined not to gamble on an untested candidate.

“For Mpohor, we promise 80 per cent of our votes for Dr. Bawumia. We believe he is the only one who can lead us to victory in 2028,” he declared.

Mr. Dadzie concluded by reaffirming the constituency’s commitment to the campaign, saying, “He is number three on the ballot paper, and for Mpohor, our choice is clear.”
